Seeds of Change started off in 1989 as an organic seed company, devoting one percent of their sales toward sustainable organic farming. It was a natural step for Seeds of Change to create organic food products.
Seeds of Change organic microwaveable rice comes in flavors that range from Latin to Indian. They are eclectic; the textures are surprising. The sweet, simple ingredient list includes organic grains, legumes and seasonings. Not one artificial ingredient in site!

Seeds of Change comes in shelf-stable pouches that take only a few minutes to get to your dinner table; just squeeze, tear and microwave the package and dig in.
Noteable Negatives
Only four out of six of the varieties list the first grain as a whole grain. The sodium content is a bit higher in some varieties, but still much lower than many other ready-made rice products that contain up to 1,000 milligrams of sodium per serving.
Nutritional Facts
- Carefully remove plastic casing and place thawed roast in covered casserole dish with vegetables such as potatoes, carrots and onions.
- Pour a baste (try olive oil and herbs) over roast, reserving some for later.
- Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
- Pour remaining baste over roast. Cover and cook for another 10 minutes.
