Alternative Pita Chips

Way Better Snacks Pita-ahh Chips. These are made with whole grain and sprouted red fife wheat. Clean food snack!

Did you know that pita chips can be worse for you than potato chips? Yes - if you buy the wrong kind. This is because most natural pita chips are made with enriched wheat flour and can have just as many calories and as much unhealthy fat as other chips do.

The cleanest, best no-junk pita chips are home made. Use whole grain flour, olive oil and salt. Nothing more.

Pita Chips Recipe

Make pita chips by separating the rounds horizontally, lightly brushing the insides with olive or canola oil and seasoning to taste with salt and black pepper. Stack the rounds, then cut the stack into 12 wedges. Arrange wedges in a single layer on a lightly oiled baking sheet and bake in a preheated 350 degrees oven for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on paper towels and store airtight for up to 5 days.
