Broccoli Squash Mac & Cheese Recipe
From Annie's web site, where you can find a nice variety of healthful recipes for all her delicious products, this makes a great side dish or main dish.
1 box Annie’s Organic Shells & Real Aged Cheddar
3 tablespoons milk
1 cup chopped broccoli florets
1/2 cup roasted butternut or acorn squash, mashed
1/4 cup roasted red peppers, diced
2 pre-cooked chicken sausages, chopped
Prepare mac and cheese according to directions on package, but add broccoli florets to boiling water after noodles have cooked for two minutes.
Once noodles and broccoli are coated in cheese sauce, add in squash, roasted peppers, and sausage.
Scoop into bowls and serve immediately.
